A “Meet the Artist” gathering celebrating the Arts Factory Members Show will be held at Arkell Museum the afternoon of Saturday, November 18th from 2 to 4 pm.
This is a perfect time to bring family and friends to view phenomenal artwork spanning a variety of mediums as well as visit with the artists who created it!
The reception is FREE and open to the public.
The Arts Factory Members Show is on view in the Regional Art Galleries of the Arkell Museum now through December 30, 2023.

The weekend is full of activities across the county. The Ames Museum (opens in a new tab) will be open on Saturday. On the National Registry of Historic Places, the museum collection encompasses life in the smallest incorporated village of New York State along with the surrounding areas and local businesses.
The 28th Hagaman Art Show (opens in a new tab) will be held on Saturday and Sunday from 12-4pm at Pawling Hall, 86 Pawling Street. Many area artists will be displaying their works. There is no admission charge.

On Saturday, the first annual Canajoharie Street Fair (opens in a new tab) will take place in Downtown Canajoharie. The event will feature live music, vendor booths, food trucks, a parade at 1:30pm, car show, and the King of the Wing chicken wing contest, ending with fireworks.

The City of Amsterdam hosts the 2nd Annual OktoberFest Block Party on Bridge Street in Amsterdam. Visit the Southside for fall treats, German music, games, craft vendors, and of course beer! OktoberFest fun starts ate 2pm with live entertainment:

The 27th Hagaman Art Show is October 6 and 7 from 12–4pm at Pawling Hall, 86 Pawling Street, Hagaman. This annual show features 60 regional artists displaying their works. There is no admission charge.
