Riverlink Park

A true Amsterdam, New York, gem, Riverlink Park is the city’s center for recreation and relaxation. Walking, biking, boating: Riverlink Park hosts it all in a scenic setting that overlooks the Mohawk River.

Cultural activities abound at Riverlink, including a Summer Concert Series. The popular free series draws an assortment of musical acts from rock and golden oldies to the Albany Symphony orchestra. Each summer, the Riverfest brings live music, food, vendors and other activities, including an exciting water ski show and fireworks, to the park.

There are plenty of docks that accommodate boaters, along with power sources, showers and laundry facilities. Astoria Landing is a popular spot for food and beverage on the waterfront. Other amenities include a playground and plenty of paths for walking and biking.

Riverlink is the gateway to the magnificent Mohawk Valley Gateway Overlook (MVGO) pedestrian bridge, where visitors can explore history and art while taking in spectacular views of the mighty Mohawk River. The 511-foot structure features informative historical markers, a gorgeous glass mosaic and stunning art installations.
