The park is a memorial to the soldiers and sailors who went out from St. Johnsville to fight in America’s wars, from the Revolution to the World War. Motorists are invited to the park which provides free parking space.
The park has a children’s playground, basketball court and a baseball field where local sporting events and community events are held.
