The Erie Canal at 200—The Erie Canal is celebrating its bicentennial! This program outlines the story of the canal and how it has been heralded in pop culture, folklore, and the history books. Discover how it was recognized at 100, and what celebrations the corridor has planned for it’s 200th!
This program will be held at the Badgley Museum Annex and is approx. 45-60 minutes with time for questions.
David Brooks is the Historic Site Assistant and Education Director at Schoharie Crossing State Historic Site, operated by the NYS Office of Parks, Recreation, and Historic Preservation.
