Sunset & Super Harvest Moonrise Full Moon Walk

Join Paul on a walk from Yankee Hill Lock to Wemp’s Basin and take in the historic sights while the full moon rises in the Mohawk Valley.
Group will return to Yankee Hill to view the Harvest Moon over the Mohawk River.
Sunset is 7:02 pm, followed by the moonrise cresting over the valley edge by 7:20pm.

Please dress for the weather, rain cancels this event. Bug spray and proper footwear is encouraged.
About the terrain: the towpath trail is grass covered and relatively flat with just a couple of areas that have a slight grade to them. The overall distance should be just a bit over a 1/2 mile round trip. Keep in mind, during the walk we’ll be losing light, so please bring along a flashlight if you’d like. Rating is easy to low moderate.
