Peddle to the Past with Jeanne & Jess

Join Jeanne & Jess for this fun cycling event on Saturday morning, Aug. 24th starting at 10am from the Visitor Center on Schoharie Street here in Fort Hunter, 12069.
Jeanne and Jess will take participants east along the Empire State Trail (Canalway Bike-path) to the Trailhead in old Port Jackson (South Amsterdam near Lorenzo’s). At that location, there will be a brief historic discussion of Port Jackson and the Sweets Canal Store along the canal.
The group will then cycle back to the Visitor Center – round trip is approx. 11 miles.
Buy Your Own Cone (BYOC) at Karen’s if you see fit to extend your ride across the Schoharie on the return, “dropping out” of the ride early.
