Kristin Asche: “Our Haudenosaunee History”

The collections of the Montgomery County Historical Society hold many original artifacts from the People of the Longhouse (Haudenosaunee/ Iroquois/ Six Nations). Kristin Asche from Gonondagan State Historic Site reveals the stories they tell of the culture that shaped this region and the people that William Johnson first worked with when he moved here in 1738. This program follows a brief Annual Meeting of the MCHS membership and an update on our Roof Restoration Project.
