Experience an unforgettable afternoon of live music with renowned folk singer, songwriter, and artist Kevin McKrell! Join us on Sunday, September 27, 2026, from 3:00pm to 5:00pm at 1538 State Route 161, Fultonville (Hamlet of Glen), NY 12072.
Somewhere tonight, across the country or across the sea, a singer, sitting on a stool on a pub’s corner stage, is belting out a Kevin McKrell song, and the crowd is singing along. Kevin McKrell, a founding member of Donnybrook Fair and The McKrells, brings his internationally acclaimed Celtic Folk and Bluegrass sound to the Town of Glen. His performances span the U.S., Canada, Ireland, and the U.K. His songs have been recorded or performed by artists from around the world and for audiences at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center and at the top Celtic Folk and Bluegrass festivals around the country. Kevin McKrell is best known, though, for his indelible songs—classics like ‘Donegal’, ‘Dublin Town’ ‘I Miss the Rain’ and the eternal ‘All of The Hard Days Are Gone’—which, in addition to a raft of pub singers, have been sung and recorded by artists such as The Kingston Trio, Bob Shane, North Sea Gas, The Furey Brothers, Hair of the Dog, Seamus Kennedy, The Druids, The Dublin City Ramblers ,Wood’s Tea Company, Get Up Jack and many others.
Kevin’s heartfelt songs and captivating stage presence promise a concert you won’t want to miss.
The venue, Conservancy Hall, is a former branch of the Dutch Reformed Church, built in 1830. The structure, which seats over 100 and is ADA accessible, is located at 1538 State Route 161 in the hamlet of Glen, Montgomery County. It is a major element of the Glen National Register Historic District, which was created in 2001. The Hall was acquired by The Glen Conservancy in 2014 and is continuing to undergo restoration. Take a look at the newly restored iconic 1830s windows, restored by Alden Witham, recipient of the Preservation Leagues, Preservation Trades Award, 2026.
