
Charleston Historical Society Presents “American Revolution Songs”
This year is the 250th Anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence! The history of the American Revolution is detailed with many battles, conferences, and personalities. But it was also a time of patriotism, inspiration, and song. This program includes eight historic songs and includes a brief narrative of the history of this war. For adults and teenagers. About one hour.
Program speakers/performers Cosby Gibson and Tom Staudle
Cosby Gibson and Tom Staudle are award-winning songwriters and singers and live near the Adirondacks in upstate New York.
The program is free to the public. Refreshments will be provided.
