Bicentennial Celebration

We’ll be celebrating the Erie Canal and our season opening with Free Ice Cream, Live Music, Tours, Scavenger Hunt and more.
Our Visitor Center will be open from 1pm to 5pm, Live Music with Kristoffer Andrew Ross 3:20p-5:20pm, ongoing Scavenger Hunt with Prize, Free Ice Cream* from the Friends of Schoharie Crossing and Karen’s. Tours will be available along the Schoharie Creek.
We’ll be featuring our updated exterior interpretive signage, highlighting the accessibility improvements and the restoration work that is occuring on site all season.
