The Glen Conservancy preserves and maintains Conservancy Hall with regard to its architectural, historical, and artistic importance; conducts activities for the public compatible with the preservation of Conservancy Hall and the Village Green, and engages in educational and cultural activities in support of the built and natural environments of the hamlet and town of Glen, Montgomery County, New York.
Conservancy Hall, formerly known as the “church hall,” was donated to The Glen Conservancy by the Glen Reformed Church when it could no longer maintain and make critical repairs to the circa 1823 historic structure. Now known as Conservancy Hall, the building is in the process of restoration. It serves as a venue for a variety of community uses, such as musical and theatrical events, film screenings, pot luck suppers and more.
