DESCRIPTION:Fort Klock is part of a 50-acre complex that includes the historic homestead\, a renovated Colonial Dutch Barn\, a blacksmith shop\, and a 19th-century schoolhouse.\nThe opening day provides the opportunity for visitors to view time-honored skills passed through generations. Visitors may visit the gardens where members have completed the chores necessary to sustain an 18th-century farm. There also is a blacksmith shop\, where visitors will see farm tools created from a hot iron\, and colonial food cooking on an open hearth.\nThere is a textile exhibit room at the fort where visitors can come to see the barn frame loom prepared for the season’s weaving projects. There is also a trade room gift shop with items\, gifts\, books\, and Mohawk Valley maps for sale.\nTours are available during opening day on the hour for a nominal fee of $5
